GEORGIA STEEL’S ‘FRAUDSTER’ DOC LANDS ON NETFLIX

Georgia Steel’s acclaimed documentary The Football Fraudster has made its debut on Netflix.

The Love Island star and model appears in the 90 minute documentary to share her experience of being conned out of tens of thousands of pounds by an ex boyfriend.
Convicted fraudster Medi Abalimba dated Georgia in 2019 telling her he was a wealthy American called Miguel Johnson.

The relationship ended when she learned of his past as conman, having previously been jailed in 2014 for stealing money from other victims.

During the documentary, Georgia and Abalimba’s other victims bravely open up about their ordeals.

Despite the pain it caused her, Georgia is now trying to look to the future: "I take that experience as a really positive reflection now. I look at it as something I had to go through to make me stronger and learn things in life for me to be able to learn what I want in my next partner.

"It’s a massive benefit for me as it makes me more knowledgeable and wiser on what I need to receive from a relationship."
The Sun hailed the documentary “astonishing” while The New York Times called it “fascinating.”
