GEMMA OWEN WOWS AT THE KENTUCKY DERBY AS SHE’S UNVEILED AS RACE AMBASSADOR

Gemma Owen travelled to America in May for the annual Kentucky Derby at the Churchill Downs Race Course in Louisville.

Gemma, the UK ambassador for the Derby, proudly attended the meet to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the race.

It is one of the biggest and most anticipated events in the US sporting calendar, with the famous Derby race dubbed ‘The most exciting two minutes in sport’.

Gemma continued the special anniversary celebrations throughout the weekend and was a guest at The Taste of Derby, Oaks Day and the Sports Illustrated Derby Party.

Gemma said: ‘It is an hour to announce that I am here in Louisville as an ambassador for the 150th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. This prestigious race meeting has been on my bucket list for some time so I‘m excited to see what’s in store for the weekend. Lots of hats, fashion and of course amazing racing.”
